Today I am introducing…drum roll, please…my very first college-help video. Please let me know if there are any problems; I have actually never made a YouTube video before.
In today’s video, I explain six ways to make money in college. Many of these ideas work well during the summer, so you can start putting them into practice almost immediately. Some of the topics covered include internships, used textbook sales, and campus jobs.

Hey, congrats on your first video. I’m a big fan of videos in general and thought you did a great job! Keep working and refining the videos. They are a great way too connect with readers in a different way!
I thinks it’s a wonderful idea to include an additional medium to your already successful blog. By reaching out to students using every means available, you are certainly going to broaden your audience.
I especially liked the first idea of selling textbooks (not just your own) that could bring in some extra income. I’ve uploaded a few videos to youtube (personal travel adventures, fun impromptu activities, etc) and really enjoyed doing it. What I really like about videos is the visual aspect of it and I’ve found it helpful to keep movement going on the screen most of the time (e.g. line by line slides, live person, etc.). Sound quality is very important as well.
Again, great job on your first video Nate and keep up the great work!
Dan
Thanks everyone for your encouraging and useful comments! I agree that I need to improve the sound quality and the movement. Those will be my two biggest goals in my next video.
