This Monday, Debt-free Scholar’s computer giveaway started. Last night at 11:59 PM, five days and 1,475 entries later, the contest closed.
I am very grateful to everyone who participated, and I hope you all enjoyed completing the scavenger hunt as much as I enjoyed planning it. Throughout the week, I had the pleasure of communicating with many of you through Twitter, Facebook, and email as you completed the scavenger hunt. I hope to meet more of you as we continue learning about college together.
The Winner Is…
I really wish I could give this package to all of you, but unfortunately that is impossible. Therefore, I choose the winner this morning using Random.org. To review, the winner will receive an HP Pavilion Dv6 laptop, an HP Mini 110 netbook, a Timbuk2 backpack, and a copy of Syncables software. All combined, this package is worth more than $1,000!

Next Thursday, Debt-free Scholar will publish a post explaining how to save money when buying a computer. If you did not win your college computer here, you can still save money by applying the methods outlined in this article. The post will be published on Thursday, September 10th.
