I ultimately went with Net10 prepaid because AT&T simply could not compete with the deal in terms of savings and phone. While I was skeptical of prepaid after so many years with a contract carrier, prepaid turns out to be a really great alternative. Net10 allows me to choose a phone and pay at will without a contract as well as keeping $65 a month in my pocket - even texting is cheaper is at .05 a text.
